Submariner 116610 LV for day to day?

The Submariner 116610 LV is suitable for day to day? Maybe it's not very discreet. What you think?

Just because it isn't always discreet doesn't mean it isnt't suitable for day to day wear. All depends on the person.

i like it a lot. To me its an in addition to watch, not a daily. I don't have a lot of things that go with green and i like to be somewhat put together and non clashing. Now that my collection is bigger absolutely.

Totally agree. Novelty factor, yes. Daily wear, no.

LV aid ideal for a daily wear. However honestly if you plan to have only one rolex then my vote would be the LN.

Totally agree. I think it's a personal decision. If I owned one I would have no issue with wearing it anytime the fancy struck me.

It’s been my daily for 16 months now.
If you wear neutral coloured clothing, it’s a perfect accent colour.
And If you, for exeample, wear blue jeans with brown shoes and belt, it matches better than a black watch.
For me the LVC is more versatile than a black sub.

It depends on your personal style. The green LVc goes with everything just as good as blue in my experience. Even then you don’t need to match your watch with your cloths. Look at it this way, would you try to match a Pepsi with your outfit every day and that’s a heck of a lot more unusual color combo.
The LVc is my everyday watch just as the Bluesy was before it for 18 years. I like my Rolex to “pop” with some color. The green sunburst dial looks black inside under lower light so it’s not like it’s raging green everywhere all the time.

I've been wearing a Hulk 24-7 (shower, sleep, swim, etc) since March 2011. Too much green for some, not for me. I don't care one iota what others think. if you like the watch buy it and wear it.

If you like green, wear it. If you don't, don't.

It's a Sub Date, like any other.

I’ve been enjoying mine in rotation for over 6 years, though it easily could be a one and only.

Tried it and it’s certainly doable but Black is definitely easier for day to day. It just goes so well with everything where the green sometimes didn’t work.

I wear my LVc daily. I found green to be a oddly neutral. It neither matches nor clashes with most colors. You look at the watch more than anyone, so after a while I stopped caring what people think.

x2 couldn’t say it better then this

Depends what you do daily, what is your occupation? If you are an accountant, or judge....probably not....

Work in a marketing department at a social media company......I think it would match the shorts and flip flops

Submariner 116610 LV for day to day?

Once you wear it you will see that the green is not as loud as you’d think, sometimes greyish green, sometimes black, bright sunlight it is definitely green. I have no problem wearing it daily. I often choose LVc over BLNR and SD4K. It’s a great watch, highly recommend. Pictures often don’t do this model justice.

In person, the watch is way less in your face than you would expect for a green watch but it still isn't subtle.

I'd personally get sick of the green after awhile. The black goes with everything and I always feel at home with it.

I don't wear mine daily as the submariner isn't my preferred style/function. That being said I could see it as a daily wearer. Makes a little bit more of a statement than a black sub just depends if that fits your personality.

The watch definitely has personality/flare.

If that fits who you are then rock-it everyday. Or, if it makes you smile every time you look at it then likewise never take it off. However, if you're questioning it somewhat, as you appear to be, get new favorite and throw the LV into your rotation.

Because we all know how many pieces a watch-nut needs........just one more.

Same thing here. I’m wearing the LVc since almost a year in all kind of occasions.

Like many said the dial is almost black in low light or indoor and only pops in direct sun
