When it comes to dress watches, I like traditional designs. I had the opportunity to see and try on several models at my local ADs, like the Lange 1815, Calatrava 5296, Breguet Classique 7147 enamel and VC Patrimony. All great watches, but in the end, the Patrimony won because it encaplulates perfectly what I value the most in a dress piece. It's conservative and impeccably finished.

I am a huge ALS fan, and I have a Sax Moonphase in WG. I love that watch both front and back.

So no surprise that the 1815 Up Down would be my choice.

If you want a modern size, try the Vacheron Constanin Patrimony 42mm. Love it!
