A friend of mine posted this photo on Facebook. Can anyone tell if it is real?

Ask your friend if it's real.

I can see you're trying to be smart. Cool. But did you think he might lie about it?

What do you think? As for one photo? Not enough to say anything about it.

Rolex Daytona. Pleas help

You’re not doubting the watch as much as you are doubting the source of his income. Maybe you have other motives behind your question I think(?). Also, definitely hard to say, just ask about the box and papers, purchase source, etc. see if any of that “adds” up?

Goodluck.

Did your friend ask you to help to determine its authenticity, is he trying to sell it to you or are you just being nosy? If it’s the nosy part, is it because of jealousy? I think you should probably do some self reflection instead of wasting time joining TRF to ask if your friends watch on FB is real.

Recently, professional watchmakers with watch and loops in hands had been fooled by super replicas so don't trust anyone trying to confirm or authenticate a watch by looking at pictures.

The more important question is, is why do you care if he has a real Daytona or not?

He’s a great guy but I do think he’d lie about this. He’s very vain.

It’s as real as a business layover in Prague.

TRF's purpose is not to evaluate real versus fake.

It was dead till you commented and I’m curious, 175 posts into your journey at TRF and you’re the end all be all authority about threads that should be open or closed? What makes you think you’re opinion about a threads status is any more relevant than the great moderators we have here?
