Most satisfying purchase in 2021
While I'm sure everyone has bought something, I am picking this Tissot PRX Powermatic as it's exceeds all expectations for the $600 I paid. A fun watch that I feel comfortable wearing it everywhere.

My alden Indy 404's. I have the 403, but find them so comfortable I wanted to wear in the muck, fishing, hiking, etc and the 404 has thicker soles and grip.
I mean watch related my seiko h558. |

Waited over a year for it but it was definitely worth it.

As we are in a watch forum I'd say this one (before and after transformation):

I'm very lucky to acquire both these watches this year, and I can't really decide which one is more satisfying.

Ichiran, that is some serious metal. Independent of the rest of your collection I would lean toward the 5740. But i could be convinced otherwise, pending the rest of your collection and knowing how the CO or 5740 added to your Nautilus vs Journe family. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Man, 21 has been a crazy year, I don’t want to even begin thinking about what I spent on watches this year. 3 of these 6 are new. Most satisfying I must say was the SD43, even if it’s also the most humble next to the Lange Timezone and that AP.

The 5740 joins 3 other SS Nautilus in my collection. The CO is my first Journe surprisingly. I was really excited when I got the call for the CO and I even created a thread for it. Hopefully this is the first but not the last. |

Been a great year with 3 amazing pieces, this is probably the winner because of what it represents to the modern watch making industry and because of who owned it.

Oris Aquis Upcycle. Dial made from PET recycled plastic from ocean. It got my daughter interested in my watch collection too, hence, “hand me downs!” Lol

Got my Muse / wife some incredibly beautiful items from La Perla. Alas no pics, yet the overall experience is immensly satisfying.

My two acquisitions for the year. Both great and completely different, but I give the edge to the Journe.
