Absolutely. It's for the person who has completed his collection.

I love that it has tracks. If it’s your speed and up your alley I say buy it yesterday.

MrGoat, here's my headphones. So, yeah, Sherman will have some friends here.

I almost got the starbase clock but rejected by my wife.

But got the Project LPX instead. Very nice.

Starbase is cool, considered getting one as well. Sherman won my heart, cute little thing.

Congrats and love the LPX rocket! Bet the loops are incredible.

I love their creations and bought my son a Destination Moon (he's an aerospace engineer). Sherman is cool, but I like Angry Sherman's attitude a bit more. Either way, very cool stuff so I voted "yes" of course!

I’d go for a copy of a Harrison marine Clock. About £10K but a joy to look at. Don’t ask me how much for a service!

Is Sherman even available anymore? I read they only produced 200 silver and 200 gold then another 50 diamond embedded. This was 2016.

I think that's in the General section with AD availability polls, value rants, and flipping mayhem.

I did from Nick @ Mayors Tampa, and will take pics once it arrives. Haven't taken out the camera gear in nearly two years(!), this may change that.

Guess I got lucky, WoS / Mayors is getting one in for me. Could also be that whole 'relationship' thing we hear so much about...

...or all the begging and groveling I did

Sherman is awesome. only two issues are its kind of loud to use as a bedside clock..... and the other thing is the ratchet can get loose so when you wind it, if the gear doesn't catch it can unwind pretty hard. it's a bit dangerous if fully wound.. . mbf sent me a new click spring or whatever it's called overnight but just an FYI

Thanks for the heads up, ALL help is ALWAYS appreciated. When winding it I'll be mindful.

PS: This is one of the truly great things about TRF, voices of experience and wisdom. A most humble thanks dchang.

I love all of MB&F’s whimsical timepieces. I just wish I could afford the ones that have caught my fancy over the years. Great stuff!

Update: Sherman is coming directly from the manufacturer. So now comes ~14 days of waiting, looking at pics, watching videos, reading more about it, buying Sherman a microphone, a hat, his winter friends.... Sherman accessorizes, and perhaps parities a bit too much, or so I've been told.

Sherman has arrived!!!

HUGE thanks to Nick @ Mayors Tampa for special ordering this. It was the very last one at the factory, though an MB&F boutique might have one remaining. Glad i scooped it up

Super cool and I truly believe these will be coveted many years from now. The team max has assembled at MBF is unquestionably at the top of the game artistically.

After decades as an enthusiast, that's the conclusion i've come to. Too many brands have become far too 'old' and 'predictable' (and dare we add boring!). Worse still, have been hearing of lowering of quality and craftsmanship with quite a few Swiss brands that are now owned by big bean-counter conglomerates.

Besides MB&F, i do want to support Kari when his first reference comes out with his new company.
