All due respect guys, AD's are not the sole way to get a legit watch, moreover there are grays who have been doing business for years and they sell top-line watches, and no they don't pass on their beats or scams to consumers. I'm all for being careful and doing your honework, but I'm not eager to make an AD rich or cover their overhead. Price baby, that's important too

If this guy was scammed then I do feel sorry for him. If he is trying to scam one of us, then pity us for allowing it to happen. I for one find it strange that so many good people here have given him sound advice, and he has not responded.

Pure bottom line price vs. value

I agree, AD's are not the only way to get a legit watch. Grey or purchasing used is another route. The only difference is how much research and effort are you willing to put in to assure yourself you got a real deal. (pun intended)

Price vs. Value.

Price is important, and I believe nobody would argue that it's not. But many times buying gray saves only a couple hundred dollars on a $5k+ watch vs purchasing from an AD. It's individual choice when you consider the trade-offs.

Value. What am I getting by paying that extra couple hundred dollars or saving that couple hundred. The extra couple percent buys peace of mind and a new Rolex warranty. For some, it means nothing. For others it's worth paying.

It's not always about price, it's about value.

For those who definitely want the real deal, AD is the only 100% bet. Most gray dealers are legit, it's just those that aren't that people hear about and get taken by. Replicas are getting too good. Do you know what you paid for?

I've reviewed the available information on this abdiahmed character, and it's pretty apparent that he's using this forum as a tool in his axe-grinding exercise. The last time I checked, the forum did not in any way resemble this:

I take exception to this abuse of the forum. Goodbye, abdi.

Oops I thought it was Gil..I'm sorry.

I really, really enjoy this forum and alot of people, such as yourself, made the effort to offer him some advice and support. It just ticked me off that he just kept coming back with these schemes instead of trying to go through the legal channels. This has been an interesting thread to say the least. I appreciate the Mods concern for all of us here, they do a great job

Douglas edward daden

FYI, Neville Daden is Douglas Daden's Father, both of the addresses of for Mr. Daden's Parents (Neville and RoseMarie).

D. Daden's last known address is 25737 Crippen Drive, Land O Lakes, FL 34639.

Mr. Daden is apparently "fixing" computers now...see this...

Seems this guy Douglas Daden has a modus operandi of threats and intimidation.

Be wary of him making false allegations and blackmail as he has tried on me.

Better yet never have anything to do with him.
