We do tend to get so caught up in things that we can forget what is really important, taking things for granted until they are gone...

Thank you.

Agree 100%.

This forum has a lot of people who worship money & religion so it’s nice to see this stated as a countermeasure! Remember, we’re not here for long & I don’t want to be on my deathbed thinking I wasted it for cash which brings little happiness or a god, which none of us will be experiencing anyway.

I wish you the best of health Peter & hope you’re strong, suffering that bastard that is Cancer. I send my love from across the pond!

Track Peter down and buy him a beer from all of us.

Then tell him to sod off.

You could have kept this offensive statement to yourself and still honored the sentiment of Peters holiday post.

Was thinking the same thing. I guess religion bashing here is ok. But, discussing religion is a no no.

I don't see what's offensive about it. After Peters inspiring post, I was commenting on my distaste of some parts of society and this forum, agreeing with him.

I know this forum is more religious and doesn't encourage much discussion, but I'm allowed to sum up my feelings from a post such as this. If my original post was offensive then a Moderator is free to contact me.

And this folks, is why religion is typically off limits on the forum...

Well if it's not offensive I guess it's ok for me to say that I believe that atheist will be in for a big surprise.

Absolutely fine with me, say what you like, no offence taken!

Thanks for sharing this Peter! I'm reading a good book right now call "The subtle art of not giving a F#ck" . I'd like to add that we all need to not give a f#ck a little more. Not about the big things but really about what people think of us and what we should be doing with our lives. Happy 2019 everyone!!

I found it deeply offensive. And your response does not even recognize the offense you raise. You clearly don't give a sh1t, which is exactly the opposite of Peters sentiments in the OP.

That's why we don't raise these opinions on the forum.
