What’s more in demand than a Rolex?

Was driving past a Popeye’s today and there was a line of traffic onto route 17 north in NJ from their drivethru caused by their new chicken sandwich. Must be one hell of a sandwich to get people waiting in traffic but reminded me of the crazy demand for Rolex. Is there anything else out there that’s making people act crazy other than luxury watches and chicken sandwiches?!!!

I scored a Popeye’s chicken sandwich today. It was delicious and I didn’t have to wait in line!

I went in but they told me it would be a 5 year wait and they are only going to allocate to known chicken sandwich buyers who have spent over a million dollars on sandwiches this year LOL.

Back to the subject of watches, without going complete upscale, what is the wait times for Tudor? is that increasing?

Ive in Los Angeles and drove by a Popeye’s that had a long line. Wondered what was up, did I not notice a line before?? Must be some good chicken. Of course AP is up because I sold my mint 15400 for just above half of the $25k they fetch today. I guess the upside is I put that into my Daytona which is up a similar amount. I guess it really doesn’t matter since the value is in the appreciation of the great poece on the wrist.

Rolexes are plenty plenty of them around, only the cheap stainless low end flippers...! I see 100'000's of Rolex watches forsale and you can own as many as you like not just the bottom end flippers..

My office is across from an In N Out. There is a 20+ line of cars starting at 11:30 every day and I've been in this office for 5 years. Unlike Rolex at least if you wait in line you'll get your Double Double.

Grew up in Irvine next to the corporate headquarters and restaurant and 20 years ago lines were never like this. Lynsi Snyder really did a great job growing the company at such a young age after the death of her grandfather and father.

The starbucks near me had the same issue yesterday. I believe it was because they were doing a half off promo on all holiday drinks and giving away free reusable holiday cups. They weren’t uniquely dated or anything— just the reusable heavy plastic cups.
