Openworked Independents
I really love the Breguet Tradition, Pinaud Origine, LeCompte, etc aesthetic. Exposed balance and openworked, but not overly skeletonized.
I have a Voutillainen Inverse in order to quench my long term thirst but I want something else sooner too. Any ideas? Ideally less than a 15 month wait and under $75k or so. Totally ok going used. |

I placed an order for the Origine earlier this year and the wait is 3 years. Breguet should be quite available from that list.

I have a tradition already and yes, Pinaud is too long a wait. Also dude I swear a year or two ago you were on here arguing about the glory of patek and FPJ being the best finishing ever and now you’re super into independents? Good choice lol :-)

I'm a Patek fanboy but I have never said Patek and Journe have the best finishing ever. In fact I said Patek and Journe are mostly machined finished. Check my post history. I bought them not for their finishing. I'm still buying Patek alongside independents, but for different reasons.

Moser Cylindrical Tourbillion skeleton may fit your bill. It is slightly over budget but the watch is quite amazing for its price point.

Settled on an Armin Strom Mirrored Force due to their good wait times, passionate ownership, and customization options.
