Any JLC Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Owners

Hey, all!

Been looking at adding a dress watch and love the look of the JLC Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar. Seems like a 'value' for the complication and they are selling significantly under MSRP for lightly used. Would love to hear from owners--what are thoughts on this watch?

I absolutely love their watches, and purchased my first JLC Master (Date) in 1996. Unfortunately, my experience with getting JLC watches serviced (3 watches & one Atmos Clock), has been such a disappointment that I would not purchase another one of their watches.

Thanks! It looks like JLC started offering 8 year warranties with models a few years ago, so hopefully that illustrates their confidence in the watch.

I own this watch, the boutique steel version. I purchased it a little over a year ago because I wanted to "daily" a PC. The master ultra thin allows you to do that very quietly. For that specific reason, I adore the watch. I wear it very often, but not quite daily. Zero issues so far...and I would absolutely do it all over again.

I have this watch as well. I love it. Super thin and light. Perfect size (39mm). Runs extremely accurately (2 years in, still running within a second per day).

At MSRP, it's already one of the best deal for perpetual calendar, and you can easily find one in excellent condition below $20k in the second hand market.

Btw, it looks like JLC just updated the watch with a newer movement:

Only the silver dial version is updated, the black one still have the old movement:
https://www.jaeger-lecoultre.com/us-...steel-q1308470

Power reserve bumped up from 38 hours to 70 hours. The moon in the moon phrase window changed from the golden color to a silver one. Other than that, everything seems to be the same (size, thickness, dials layout).
