As much as I love the 5980 blue dial, I agree about your preference with the 5990. My 5980 pinched my wrist around the area of the crown while the 5990 sits on the wrist more comfortably.

I prefer it to the 5980. I listed a few things in an earlier post in this thread, forgot to mention the bezel on the 5990 is a bit slimmer as well, which I like.

It is when it's an estimate. Could be a 2020 thing. All I know is that I have the 5711R allocated for sure in Q1 or Q2 in 2019. That will suffice until I get the 5990 as a travel piece.
