When I was 13 years old.
My dad had a Rolex DateJust TT, champagne dial, jubilee bracelet, and since I saw the watch I fell in love, I insisted so sincerely that he bought another and gave me his. It was one of the happiest days of my life that I still remember and it makes me smile.

My father trusted me and that was my watch for many years until he gave me a GMT when I graduated as a lawyer.

I greatly admire many watch brands, but on my wrist I only like Rolex since I was 13 years old.

Just shy of 23 years old in Sept of 1985. Bought my GMT 16750 with my first bonus check at my first job out of college. 33 year later, it's still pretty much my daily wear. I bought a Sub 10460 for my 50th and I rotate the 2.

First:

Omega: 18th Birthday (Goldeneye Seamaster)
Patek: 21st - Inherited my PP Gondolo
Patek: 25th - Bought my Calatrava - white gold beauty. (when I got my first Investment job bonus)
Rolex: 30th Birthday my Rolex Explorer, followed up by a blue Sky-Dweller 2 weeks later. (grey market) - because... 30th birthday is a big one! Needed 2 x the reward!

I've had a good history with watches so far!

42 - used some money from a large bonus to "treat" myself to something nice. Little did I know about the rabbit hole I fell into at the time!

It's tough to turn 30! I did it 6 weeks ago and I'm still recovering...though my own 30th birthday Explorer is sure helping!

Haha mine was in August!

I don't think its that bad... I'm lucky/unlucky... I still look mid 20s. My mother is 60 and she look's like a 30-40 year old. Youth genes! Especially if I go full clean shaven... I look like a child haha

You're only as old as you feel and your attitude, plus you can always be immature!
