Fake Seller posing as Dan Dubinsky of Timepiece Perfection
Someone contacted me via PM after posting a WTB. I was aware that scammers use that to phish so I was cautious. Talked for a while via PM. First red flag was Dan is supposed to be local to me so I suggest a F to F and he ignored it. Whatever. I'm busy too. Then he sent me his PayPal info... Admiralsmate@gmail.com. Hahahahaha yeah. Right.
So I started cruising the forum pages and found Dan posted in the Sellers/Buyers who's who section warning people about this today. I'm attaching all the info I was able to get before he realized I was on to him. He sent an email saying "thanks for the post" in reference to Dan's post in who's who. So, don't be surprised if he pops back up under a different name. First experience like this... Typically I'm on to scams before I even begin the process of buying, but I wasn't. I didn't lose any money or anything like that, but I'm definitely going to be doubly careful. |

You can report any suspicious PM by clicking the red triangle at the top. Who sent you the PM?

He is a crook. I posted on this criminal just this week. Dan Dubinsky is a real dealer, this guy is not him.
