Do you have a serial # for it, is it a R series?

Here is a 1987 R Series with a bunch of photos for comparison. I hope this helps you.

Hi. It is a R series watch. Do you think it looks like there is a lot of wear on the bracelet?- I thought it looked great.

I am in between on buying this watch and the 16013. The price is almost alike, around 100$ in between.

The 16013 is acrylic and from 1980 but have box and papers.
This 16233 is saphire and from 1987 and have box (but not original box to the watch?)

What is the best buy?

I'd go with the 16233 even though it doesn't have papers.

If this is your first watch and you're keeping it for many years papers really doesn't make that difference since you're probably going to service it down the line and get new documentation.

This is of course just my opinion and worth exactly what you paid for it.
