Awesome. When does it arrive?

Am I the only one who reads SNXS as "snacks"?

That's a handsome Seiko. I anxiously await my SSC667. And while I pine for its arrival, I'm tempted to buy an SSC081 Adventure-Solar because the correct answer to 'how many watches' is always n+1.

So I hear you on the compulsion.

Very cool. Congrats! Recently while visiting a Seiko boutique in KL, I was presented with a box of like 24 Seiko 5s in every color and design. Too bad I forgot to take a pic.

That would have been so cool!!!

I unpacked it and tried my black strap on it which looks great but I decided to leave it on the bracelet since I have the snxs75 on strap

I think Seiko for me captures the essence of the hobby. I would never crack open my Rolex patek or RM. I won’t even change the strap on the RM and I can’t afford to buy a ton of them to enjoy the different designs.

Seiko on the other hand, I can open up and take out the movement mess around with the watch, the bracelet, straps and all the while there are so many variations that get me excited. The cost sub ye grand Seiko line is reasonable and really give me a lot of enjoyment.

I get probably more enjoyment out of my Seiko’s than some of my rolexes and pateks tbh.

I wear seiko 90% of the time now, and I don’t care who knows it. Those in my life who know about my hobby wonder why I seem to always wear seiko, and I think you captured the essence of why. They are watches meant to be worn and modded and fiddled with etc....it can be a more immersive experience with seiko then any other brand.
