Trade 233 for DSSD

Ok guys need some voice of reason. Been having serious thoughts of trading my 233 dot dial for a DSSD. I know many of you have both of these watches so what is the option if you could only keep one. Really love the 233 but don't seem to wear it as much as i should because i keep thinking i will ding it up. As it is I have put a small ding in the bezel and I am very careful with it.

The thought to do so would never even cross my mind but then again I love the 233 & don't particularly care for the DSSD.

You'll scratch up that ss bracelet much more than any bezel. I wouldn't personally.

Thanks, for the quick replies. I don't know what has gotten into my head. Been in and out of Rolex for years, and never keep one for more than a few months. I quess it's the WIS in me.

Thanks guys, didn't take you long to talk me out of it. Actually wore the 233 today, and she keeps smiling at me, boredom is a terrible thing in the watch world. Thanks again

Don't trade the 233. It is the perfect PAM. 8 day PR, Date, Seconds, AM/PM ididactor, & GMT. What could the DSSD have on this model? Plus, the DSSD is just another Rolex, not that there is anything wrong with that!

I have actually just recently considered selling over half of my current collection (including my 351) to buy a 233.

DON'T DO IT!!

Great to see you've decided against it. The 233 is an incredible reference.

If I were to trade a 233 for DSSD, it would have to be for a vintage piece (DRSD) or something that is hard to find. Otherwise, would absolutely keep the 233 (especially if it had the dot) and start saving up for a DSSD to add to my collection. My 2 cents.
