Discount on Tudor

Has anyone gotten a discount from an AD when purchasing a Tudor, specifically a Pelagos?

Good question, waiting on the Tudor owners for this one.

I didn't but most of the UK authorised dealers offer up to four years interest free credit with 10% deposit so in my opinion, that's as good if not better than a discount.

Discount on Tudor

I think this may depend on your relationship with your specific AD. I have been offered discount or AD cover the sales tax on Tudors, including the newer ones.

Yes I got a discount of around 10% on a LHD but I have spent a good amount in the last couple of years.

I got basically laughed at when asking about any sort of discount on a Pelagos (in stock) at Shreve in San Francisco.

I tried it on, liked it, asked about any discount, then bought a new one from one of our trusted sellers and saved $1500 bucks.

I paid about $3300 shipped, and Schreve wanted like $4450 plus tax!

bit off topic, but how do you know if a seller on TRF is a "trusted" seller? I read this all the time but don't know how that's determined.
Thanks,

Fred

I was offered 10% without asking a couple of months ago. As a rule, if you see something meaningfully below retail on the secondary market, you'll be able to find an AD willing to negotiate. But that doesn't mean every AD will.

I've got a discount on all Rolex and Tudor from my AD with exception of my DaytonaC. Should be possible depending on availability and relationship.

I find it hard to believe you are still getting discounts on Rolex from your ad.. if so, more power to you and congrats but your ad might soon not be an ad anymore...

Yeah, I got 25% off the 79220R two years ago.

I was offered 29% off a Tudor Advisor recently, but it's not the watch for me.

I did not ask for a discount on the Ranger, GMT, or 58. I should have asked for a discount on Ranger.

I was told no discounts at all on Rolex or Tudor by local AD (Durham, NC). Although it is a larger "chain" so they might be strict on their policies. They pretty much told me straight up any other brand I would get a discount on though.

I got a great big fat whopping discount on my Pelagos 4 years ago, around 30%. The fact that the new in house movement version had just come out plus I was buying some jewellery might have had something to do with the generous discount though.

got 12.6% off on a BLue Pelagos about a month ago - had them down to $4200, when i came home to sleep on it for a day. Went on the web, found the damn things on Amazon of all places, offered by grey market vendors, for as little as $3636, but most were at $3875

Called the sales person at the AD, told what i'd found - she insisted they just didn't deal with web prices. I responded well, you may not, but i have to notice that i'm paying considerably more than i'd have to on Amazon, and amazon is a pretty secure market, ie no scams, if not as described etc, so please talk to your svc manager

THey came back at $4000 + sales tax and i accepted the new offer
