My Omega GMT love was the "Great White":

It's a shame Omega saw fit to discontinue these models.

I've been wearing this exact watch for the last 4 weeks and it is just a dream. So comfortable, beautiful and accurate, almost the perfect watch for me

The 'Great White' is a fantastic looking watch! Wish they were still in production.

Very easy to read, great dial and hands.

Only drawback is its not easy to adjust the bracelet.

Overall very happy.

They work just like the Rolex GMT II - you set the hour hand, not the 24 hours hand. How I set mine is rotate all the hands to midnight, then set them to the local time. Then jump the hour hand forwards or backwards to the new time zone. There are various ways you can use a GMT.

They do still make a Seamaster 300M GMT. However it's just the standard blue dial/bezel version with an extra hand and extra markers on the face. It's too bad, I really liked the old version, I thought it looked much cleaner without the helium escape valve on the side.

Anyone know what year they went out of production?
