Anyone buy a watch from Jomashop? If so, what was your experience?

check the who's who section. I think there's some experiences people had there. good luck. personally I wouldn't do business with them for a rolex... for other brands, maybe.....I prefer the TS here though. Prices are good, and if there's any issue with authenticity, I know they will make it right.

If you google jomashop reviews, many people complained of receiving the watch they ordered in less than perfect condition if not outright broken.

What watch are you looking at? Just make sure to read all the fine print before purchasing. I've heard stories on having trouble returning but overall They are one of the top online "gray market" retailers.

Good luck with your purchase, show it off as soon as you get it!

I've bought several from them, will never buy from them again.

You will NOT get a official warranty card or all of the original paperwork from the original manufacturer. They only supply their own company warranty. And, if there is an issue and you want to return it, even if it is their fault, you will have to pay for return shipping and insurance.

I've heard this several times but I guess you get what you pay for right? They can be hit or miss but sometimes they do have good deals that off set the negatives? I haven't bought from them in a while so I wouldn't know now.

Great info for a first time buyer.

I've bought from them before and would again. I also had them not reply to an email once, so I purchased elsewhere.

It's just a matter of weighing the discount vs potential problems. The worst case scenario is you need to service the watch, so for higher priced watches I want them to be the cost of a service cheaper than anywhere else to make it worth the risk.

Not worth buying a watch if it will still fall under the manufacturer's warranty as they don't provide it, just their own.

I've bought an Omega from them, great shipping (fast and well packed) and the product is as described, minus manufacturer warranty. Highly recommend, their Rolex prices aren't as good as other brands ie Omega

Good point, now my point to you would be that you know you are purchasing from a Non AD in the first place because you are looking for pricing (I've been guilty of that myself)

They have a very good operation and a very nice looking site but truth is that they are still not AD to any of the brands they carry. I'm not very sure but I doubt that they will service your watch after the sale they probably will give you the: "contact ......" line. (I could be wrong)

I've bought three $4000 range watches from Jomashop and all arrived new as described. One had a damaged dial and the exchange process went smooth.

However, for certain brands, if you call around some ADs can beat Joma's price. Tudor and certain Omega comes to mind.

Buying Omega from Joma is actually preferable, since they only keep the warranty card but will still send you the pictogram card, so you're covered for provenance sake.

I wouldn't let them touch a watch post sale. Forget their warranty, they'll do the cheapest fix they can possibly get away with. By "service" I mean a manufacturer service with a full manufacturer warranty.

Bought few watches from jomashop, gemnation, and watchmaxx. No problems.

Edit: also authenticwatches. However, look at the trusted sellers here first for BNIB.

I have purchased a few watches from them over the years, most expensive being an Omega Seamaster. Watch was new and at a very competitive price. Not sure I would buy Rolex from them, as their prices really aren't that great on them.
