I'm just glad to know nobody got hurt, I hope they get arrested and that justice will be served.

These "smash and grab" threads have really been going well all week (sarcasm--each one has been quickly locked).
Does anyone want to take bets on how long this one will last?

I hate seeing stuff like this. Seems like its more and more common lately. I really wish all these people would get caught and they would televise that.

I have to wonder did these guys know exaclty what model's to go after? 17 watches at a value of $940k that would put the average price of each rolex over $55k. Pretty expensive for your average rolex. Or is the media just over hyping the value to try and get more attention? Would be criminals could see the almost $1m payday and the easy smash and grab and try something similar.

I guess you could always reinforce display cases with plexi glass. Would be much harder to break for a quick smash and grab.

i think they had a security guard who ran after the thieves till the parking lot. Also at first it was reported the stolen rolexes were worth 500k. Now all of a sudden its being reported at 940k

Been in there a few times. Most of those high-end stores have an armed guard. I guess this one didn't. Glad everyone is ok. Sux that this happens....

Guess we know that another price increase is coming now.

The 'brazen' gents need to fire the old guy robber dude that ran out last. Seems like he would slow them down a bit.

Just saying.
