Just picked this up, had a few Grand Seiko and but never a 44GS and wasn't all that convinced I liked the case shape but this one has really got under my skin. The watch has a beautiful combination of my favourite parts of GS. The case wears big and bold and is striking in its angles and curves, the dial is a deep blue, my favourite colour, with just enough texture to add some visual interest. The GS in gold airb Grand Seiko in white is my preferred signature on the dial and it has the classic dauphine hands and indices. Not sure it gets much better to be honest. The movement is beautifully decorated and with blued screws to boot. The only fly in the ointment is accuracy, currently way out of specs at plus 16secs in 1.5 days. Let's hope it settles down... Anyone got any input on the accuracy of the 9SA5?

Pics galore.
