Grand Prix Rosegold ??

Hi everyone.

I was planning to pull the trigger on a Grand Prix Rosegold

But would like to seek advice from those who are fermiliar with dealing with Carbon Watches

I heard that the Carbon wears off overtime (sort of like melted?)

What is the most important thing that I need to look out for when buying the watch like for example bezel condition wears, dents, dints etc.

I don’t wanna end up loosing a huge amount of money or have trouble re-selling it in future!

Please advice me!

I used to own the RG GP. The carbon bezel didn't look good after a year of wear. You can send the watch to AP, and they will change the bezel, from carbon to ceramic.
Its worth the upgrade.
Otherwise its a great watch.

I had a carbon bezel on a ROO, it looked great, lots of character, but it was delicate. I'd not choose one again, but equally I don't think AP will make any more new models with a carbon bezel.

If you have the option to swap to a ceramic bezel then that will make it robust. From my perspective, my ROO's have never suffered any case damage, so I can't imaging that a carbon case will be any more prone to damage.

Factor in the price of a new ceramic bezel and if the numbers work go for it!

I loved it in person, but the pictures tend to make it look crappy.
