Nanasake90, really feel sorry for you, that you found it necessary to take my Lord’s name in vain for a cheap expression. As a follower of the one who gave me a new life and died in my place I am deeply offended. Praying you might come to know what that Name really means and the love that He has for you. james in San Antonio

That's a little too preachy, thanks. Keep it secular.

You really love your PPs! I've never owned one although I know they're a fantastic holy trinity timepiece but may I ask a hopefully not dumb question since you have many. Why did you choose a PP in the first place and what do you like about the brand the most? Do you own any other brands? I'm just curious as I've owned Rolex for years but have just purchased a new VC and I am pretty much over the moon with what I've experienced with it so far...Thanks, Happy Holidays to you!

Happy Holidays everyone. Thanks again for all the compliments. My watch hobby started years ago with different brands and with Nautilus when they are relatively “affordable “. When I save up enough I will visit my AD.

Back in the old days when everyone only talks about Perpetual, Annual Calendar or world timer. No one really pay much attention to Aquanaut and Nautilus. They are considered as non Patek. Been through the Panerai, Frank Muller and Cartier Santos period and I think I got lucky (still think I am). I sold most of my other watches and now only keep the nautilus and some Lange. Thinking ahead I always want to get the original 3700...

OP, are you not interested in the 5740? Notice that you received the 5726 blue so soon, you probably have a great relationship with your AD, hence the curiosity.

Hi Ichiran. My AD offered me the 5740 before but it cost way out of my budget so I passed. Maybe one day when I hit the jackpot! If I have the money I will go for a nice 3700 first.
