Wow, didn't realize Seiko made it that thick for what's basically a non-complication movement, so thanks for pointing that out.
Hi Beat in 2020 is far far thicker than Hi Beat in 1970. Beggars belief.

Pricing at seiko seems to have flattened out a bit after inflating over the last couple years

Didnt jump at me. Maybe because i think i already have the best blue dial seiko.

The place did not have good lighting. Was thinking the dial’s blue would show different hues depending on angle and lighting. Wasnt able to do that.

I'm afraid kind of Meh. The blue bezel is somehow odd to me? And what is with the star that Zenith and Omega also seem in love with?

Will admit to not being a Seiko expert, why is it sooo thick? Please educate me.

Doesn’t do much for me. I plan I’m getting the 235 which aesthetically looks like it blows this away , and has the hibeat movement (w GMT).

The non-sports quartz is the only one I’d be thinking about (for me)

Nice pic, thanks. At least for me, it looks even better here than the stock photos.

Nice watch.

I’ve come around on these pieces.... solid and lovely without “trying too hard”.

That blue is quite lovely and striking, however, I’m holding out for a spring drive model.

The live pictures look better than the press release photographs. Still not interested though.
