Icon2 26315ST Grey or Panda

Looking to pick up a 26315ST. Having a hard time between the Grey and Panda. I haven’t been able to see either together in person so wanted to ask.

The panda. Grey is a lot of grey on grey. Tried both on today. Passed on the grey. Waiting for the call back on the panda they were holding for someone.

Good luck.

Cheers

I’ve tried on both—this won’t be super helpful but I really really loved both of them.

I feel like the panda is a bit sportier and the grey a bit more versatile. Can’t go wrong either way.

I immediately knew I wanted the panda vs. the Grey. I have seen both prior to purchase and honestly, there is way too little contrast in the grey.

Glad I made my choice.

Gone the other way - for me, yes there is little contrast with the grey on grey, though it does depend on the light a lot, see below for examples.

I took the grey for its versatility, it simply goes with everything including a nice suit without being out of place and gives the feel of ultimate timelessness.

Also, the panda to me, much more sporty, but I felt the blue was too blue and the white too white. Just not the perfect combo of a 'contrasty' dial variation - I would have loved to see a blend of the too, like the ROC IP (my favourite ROC dial color combo) - but ofc I understand why won't be getting that. It's amazing no doubt, but not quite enough to supercede the grey's stealth appearance and versatility - for me! If you're a more casual person and have t-shirts in your wardrobe, maybe the panda is the right one for you.

I generally prefer Pandas, but the silver/grey combo does work well too for something a bit different.

I have the panda-- actually the Italy limited edition and even that piece in low light contrast is low and sometimes hard to see the hands against the light background

Just got the grey as well. Prefer the stealth and it definitely looks 100x better in person. The grey shines in different lightings and almost reminds me of a skeleton look. More versatile.

It’s definitely longer lasting in appeal whereas the panda I’m afraid would provide short term satisfaction at least for me.

Congrats. Both are truly beautiful and you can't go wrong. I tend to agree with mbalmz that panda is sportier, while grey is more versatile (and to me looks great with business casual dress).

Agreed. Wanted something I could wear both casual and in a suit. Figured I'll get a white Daytona in the future to fill my panda needs.

I love this watch.

Does anyone know if the 26315 ST is hard to get hands on?
I´m in Sweden and since this is a "boutique only" we don´t have it here at the AD.

Any experienses with the movement on this one? Good/bad etc?

It trades around retail at grey, that's how I got mine.

Movement is the well known F Piguet Cal. 1185 modified by AP (that was in the ROC since the 90s), as used also in the VC pre Gen3 chronos and many others too. I like that it's the thinnest chrono movement out there (if I'm not mistaken), otherwise no frills, no hacking seconds, and can't judge durability for myself, but happy so far.

Grey!

A certain monochromatic quality to the grey 26315st!

Can't argue with that!

I found I'm liking it more since I have it. Outside in natural light with sun out, it looks so crisp and sharp there's nothing like it. All the grey tones combined are just so dope. Completely timeless

I love the stealth aspect of this watch and pictures definitely don’t do this watch justice. I’ve been wearing this over my 116520 white Daytona these days.

Both are very good looking. I would love to have this 38mm model, but AD in my city does not have them. It seems like the gray market is selling at a higher price.
