I'm working my way through Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp series, currently on Transfer of Power.
Very Entertaining and light summer reading.

I've read a few of them, they're pretty good but it gets old after a while.

Just finishing, Farewell: The Greatest Spy Story of the Twentieth Century. Had no idea when I started it just how appropriate the story might be.

I really don't have much time to sit down with a book.

However, every night before I go to bed I take the time to read a few lines in this book.

It gives me tremendous joy, inner peace, happiness and satisfaction.

Now I have a question for you all.

Am I the only one on the forum that reads his check book?

This is a great book. I read it back in 2010 when I was a commander in Afghanistan. There were a few things I read in the book that changed the way I looked at our fight against the Taliban along the Afghan/Pakistan border. Took a page from MacArthur's playbook in the Pacific and it helped out.
