California trip....

Well, been twice before, and never has it all gone to plan. Third time is no different!

Started out last friday with a crazy toothache.... Visited a dentist in SF on saturday, all pretty good now... She didn't do a root canal, I think it was a good call, as the tooth isn't bothering me much now. Might be wisdom teeth.

OK, so anyway... Spent 4 days in SF, what a wonderful town!

Thank you to members Danny, and Alex who both helped me trough my toothache, and tips on what to do and eat.

Took the "1" down to Monterey today, really foggy day, but what a view when we saw it.

Too bad we have to skip on Santa Barbara, it will make too much of a de-tour following the closure of 101.

Never knew there was Chicago pizza in SF!

Pics......

Very nice! I need to spend a few days up there for pleasure one of these days. I only seem to go there on business and never really get a chance to do much sightseeing.

Great photos Andreas but you missed an amazing little town just across the Golden Gate called Sausalito. Great little shops to explore and the home of FREDS Place for their double deep fried French toast and extra thick maple cured bacon!

Darn. Wonder if it’s the home of “Sausalito audio works”...?

Its named after the town but is actually located about 35km north of the Golden Gate bridge in Novato in the heart of Silicon Valley. The same Silicon Valley which is the home of Yahoo, Google, Apple, HP, Netflix, Facebook, Tesla Motors, Intel, etc

Nice! Your pictures make it look like SF is a ghost town, though, when it's quite the opposite IRL!

Silicon Valley is south of SF, not north.

Yes, technically in Santa Clara but with some of those companies moving around, Silicon Valley has encompassed everything between Marin County and Santa Clara County. So I will rephrase that to say North Silicon Valley

Gorgeous photos of a gorgeous city!!!

I have relatives in nearby Daly City. I love the NYC area but if I ever were to move to another city in the U.S. it'd be San Francisco

Big fan of theirs. They developed the Beolab 5 speaker for Bang & Olufsen.
