Flipping 202st for 5164a

Hi

I have been fortunate enough to own a 202st for a little more than a year. But due to its size it doesn’t get sufficient wrist time and I am thinking to flip it for a PP Aquanaut Travel Time.

Would like to hear your advices.

Thank you very much

Ken

i would think a 5712 is a better straight swap. I love my 64 and i probably wear it more than any other watch but depending on what you are going for it may or may not make sense as its way more casual with the rubber strap.

size wise the 64 and the 202 isnt massively different especially so because AP on a bracelet wears bigger than 39mm

Thanks Tyler. I also agree that 5712 will be the ultimate choice. The issue is that here in HK (guess everywhere else too), the chance of getting a 5712 is practically 0.

Currently I mostly wear the 26631st (41mm on bracelet) hence I think the 64 will make it a great pair for rotation

I flipped my 202st for a 5712 as couldn't pass up the offer of the PP. Kind of miss the 202st now.

Any ideas how hard these are to source? Am guessing from grey market prices that these are becoming a lot like hen's teeth. Also the 202ip I assume is trading way above list?

I'd do it now, and then get on lists for the 12 as well.

I wouldn’t do it, the aquanaut is my least favourite Patek, I actually don’t like it at all and I can’t understand the love for it. Why swap a sought after AP that’s cool for an entry level Patek that isn’t?

Agree with Ash. I had both the 67 and the 64 but just couldn’t bond with them. It’s really a matter of personal preference. For me 5711/12 > 15202 > 5167/64.
