Will changing out an AP strap to a customized strap affect the AP warranty?

For Rolex if they decide to be fussy, they may void warranty if they know / detect you have changed the original strap while the watch is under warranty (kindly correct me if I'm wrong). Was wondering if this applies to AP.

AP ship a lot of their ROO range with two straps.

Some of their RO models also ship with two straps.

Presumably, if you were to send your watch back to AP for warranty work, as long as it has an AP strap on it, then all will be good.

Understood, makes sense. Thanks for the info!

Actually, it won't at all. I had my AP Diver serviced a couple years ago, and sent it to Clearwater with a Horus camo strap in the box and asked them to install it. And they did!

Seems like Clearwater's APSC is flexible with their TnCs, which is a great thing from a customer's POV.

Why would a change of strap void a warranty ? Unless you want to claim warranty on scratches on the lugs ?
