Hi guys,

Who is the best broker to use to invest in the us stock market for non us resident? I would prefer a bank but it seems like that’s impossible. My options are interactive brokers and td ameritrade. I’m only interested in investing in index funds. I’m grateful for any help/suggestion.

If you’re only going to invest in etfs, it really doesn’t matter as they all free these days. Interactive brokers is more geared toward traders and can get complicated while tda is more user friendly. Out of those two, I’d go with tda.

I like the Schwab interface.
