Pump vs Screw pushers on vintage PN’s

What’s your preference?
The market seems hotter for screw buttons, but between a Newman 6241 with two lines text, and a Newman oyster 6263, I would personally choose the 6241.

Curious to hear your vision!

I have both types. Esthetically I find the differentiation to be minimal. Functionally it requires slightly more effort to unscrew the pusher but not a big deal.

However in terms of robustness, the screw downs win. I have sheared off the simple pushers by accident by getting them snagged.

I prefer the screw pushers, but do not own a Daytona. Love the look of them!

Nobody ever uses them anyway, but pump for me if I had to choose (which I don't - I've never been into Daytonas).

x100. Much prefer the screw-down pushers. Gives the watch a slightly chunkier feel, which it needs because it's quite a dainty piece really. And I also love the way the "teeth" of the pushers complement the crown, as shown here in this shot of my 6263 in the rain.

It would seem to me that if one wanted a PN, they would want a 6239, like THE PN.
IMHO, all others, although some more rare, are "just" Daytonas with exotic dials.
Please advise ,,,,,, I am sure someone will.

These are beautiful pieces. There was talk that true PN dial never originally featured on the screw-down pusher models, rather the 2 most desirable features were put together to create the perfect model.
