Rolex Prince WG?
Hi everyone,
Please help me with decision. My fiancee wants to buy me a watch for our wedding. I would like to have a nice dress watch on a leather strap but which is also collectable. The choices came down to Omega Speedmaster (on leather) and Rolex Prince wight gold with roman numerals. I can't find any info on Rolex Prince (except for the old 1930 models). My AD says it is not popular today but might become popular just like Daytona did some time ago. Can anyone provide any feed back and thoughts and perhaps even photos on Rolex Prince models. What kind of watch is it and is it really better choice than the Speedmaster. (I do like Speedmaster, but I have other Rolex Sports watches and the Daytona already). Thank you all! |

Thanks Dino
Thanks Dino,
What do you think about the watch? Do you wear it often when you have other Rolexes? Do you grow tiered of it? Thanks very much! Alex |

I think they're beautiful square watches! Rare in the wild!

I would say that those are pretty odd choices..
A $3,000 run-of-the-mill Omega Speedy; or A $15,000 Rolex Cellini Prince in white gold.... I don't know about you but the choice to me is obvious........

I really think Rolex should stick to what its good at producing, the Oyster case. A square or "tank" style watch is best made by Cartier or Jaeger LeCoultre, in my opinion...
