Century City Rolex only store is doing a Rolex trade in day
My sells guy called me and told me that the store is doing a Rolex Trade-in Sales day on the 23rd of January. He said they offer really good money in Trade-ins. Anyways, just thought I'd share, plus I want to check what they will give me for my IWC and YM. His name is Alex, nicest guy there.

I've heard that 100 times. It's probably not anywhere near what you could get selling your watch yourself on the private market. It's like trading in a car - a dealer will never give you what you could sell it for yourself. It's the convenience factor more than anything.
But this is coming from someone who has recently sworn off every buying from an AD ever again. Who needs to do when you have folks like DavidSW and Mosco? :) |

The only good trade in would be a clunker just like in cash for clunkers (though I doubt the US tax payer will want to foot the bill) , otherwise you will end up losing , usually on both ends(trade-in and new purchase).

I doubt that they would give you a good price on a trade in. They are looking to resell that trade in watch, so...
