I watched the first three minutes where he was talking about parking his advertising-decal car at different high end restaurants and his workout club and thought I was watching the wrong thing and shut it down. Maybe I'll give it another chance, but I never watch "reality shows" on tv either, as I find them phony and boring.

tbh i think it's smart. people that love watches love cars, and rich people love both. if someone sees an r8 plastered with advertisements they'll probably check it out to see how the guy can afford it

I agree. As he said, "not all car guys are watch guys, but all watch guys are car guys."

Another interesting video. Corporate and calm would be very boring.

I’ve watched several of his videos and find him interesting/likeable.

What I struggle with is his business model. Buying a $55000 watch and selling it for $57000 (3-4%) seems crazy to me. Yes he goes on to say they move volume but still ...

I guess I’d be more interested in making higher margin and moving less inventory.

I suppose both approaches can co-exist and I’m sure his retail sales make up for part of the gap. I’d be curious to look at his books

I wish him well.

I’ve watched a few of his videos now. An interesting angle to the watch business and fun to watch. The way they run the business, particularly cash flow planning, seems rather seat-of-the-pants and amateurish. But, I’m sure they’re learning loads and will improve.

I wish them great success!

Definitely entertained still. Giving Roman a shout out in the last episode on the tv was awesome too. This guy is a pure hustler and seeing all these dream watches is hard not to watch. How it all ends who knows, but I'm definitely in for the ride.

Many people are saying some of our TS’ were asked to do a guest spot but they wanted it packaged with another video series and a standard 30% bump.

Negotiations are ongoing.

I watched the most recent video. Anthony wants $60K for his preowned Daytona green dial. Yikes.

Not much straight horological content here..so it won’t be for everyone, but there are other channels for that.
awesome, exactly the kind of guy I want to buy my imaginary $250k RM from :)

If I was going to sell this fellow a watch and he told me that he could not pay me for 3 days, I would walk away from the deal. It is an interesting business, he has a ton of overhead, and the margins seem small on average. So if he grosses $35M, how much does he really net? Seems like a lot of mouths to feed, I just don’t get it.

Like the series, good entertainment. Feel their their website could use some work as they did a good job of drawing me in to check out their inventory.

I do not personally know Anthony, but one of my closet friends does and has bought multiple pieces from him and said he is as solid as they come.

His operations has always made me/us wonder. My take is he has limited or zero available operating capital. Most business work off a line, in my experience that option is much better than an investor. Liquidating your personal collection to expand your business, would be a hard pill to swallow, but makes sense in order to grow a thriving business.

I love the series, its really entertaining to see his business doing its thing. A lot of haters on here and armchair consultants who like to poke holes at everything they can. The dudes making a profit and moving inventory. I will agree that he could use an upgraded system, especially watching him field back to back to back calls, but he's doing his thing and we dont know 100% of his backend.

I've really enjoyed watching his videos, and he seems like a nice guy who's making a (pretty good) living out of something he loves. So kudos to him

His OH should be pretty high though, especially for insurance and security. Not sure how much insurance will cost him, but personal insurance for watches is around 2% of the value, for a business like his could be around 6-7%? With $35M sales he might spend roughly around $3-4M in OH. He could up netting half a million if he manages to get cheap funding/cash to buy inventory.

I really like his videos. He seems like a nice guy and a straight shooter. He and his partner need to get a LOC as well as upgrade the website.

Seems like a good guy based on the 1 video I watched.

I think some of you guys pointing out ways he could operate the business more efficiently are right. It's also perfectly reasonable to have growing pains when it looks like his business has blown up in the past 6-12 months. Inventory/sales methods that used to work will need to be adapted.

I suspect lots of his sales are near break-even when trading amongst wholesale dealers. I think it's fairly common to have bridge loans/net30 type deals amongst people in the business.

My one issues is the website and photos. I love a good website because I don’t want to monitor insta stories for a basic picture and possibly a price. I love his series for content but I wish I could get in there and help him from a business perspective.

New episode is up, they are looking at getting an intern to filter communications to Anthony, and they are also instituting CRM solutions.

Interesting watching.

It's good to see them looking to make some improvements. I inquired on their website a few days back, they never even got back to me.
