The first MARVEL/AP Superhero is?

We now know that the AP/MARVEL collaboration is not with the studio but with the comics.

FHB has said that it's going to be a long collaboration and the number of characters in the comics are numerous. He also said that the lesser known characters are going to have some light shone on them.

With that all in mind, who do we think is the FIRST MARVEL Superhero to enter the AP world on April 10th?

I think it'll be Captain America. (The US hasn't had much love from AP recently, so I think it's a good starting point).

I'd start a poll, but the options are far too numerous.

p.s.

If you think it's Iron Man then YOU LOSE!

I’m thinking it’s going to be someone incredibly obscure and that only die hard comic book readers will have heard of.

I’m hoping for one of the Avengers

There was a picture of the first one online a few days ago. Not sure where I saw it but it was Captain America. It reminded me of the Millenary line where the entire case and dial was made to look like his shield. Wasn't my taste and I usually like things that aren't the norm.

i was really hoping for iron man, so a bit disappointed to hear that’s the only thing they have confirmed, that that one is definitely not going to happen.

Spider-Man ROO red dial with blue sub dials.

Or A Wolverine edition with metal spikes that come out of the sides to rid yourself of any people that annoy you :-)

Months before Marvel colab was mentioned some members with close ties with AP mentioned that something very special is coming to America in April... so I go with Captain America too...

I have seen the watch and i can confirm you are all wrong :)

The only clue I can give is that it has a very funky colour strap.

I heard that the watch was going to be "affordable", even though limited edition. That would rule out a Pt Jumbo

I don't know which character it's going to be (except that it's not Iron Man), but my guess for the watch is a ROO diver - not sure what else would qualify as affordable (relatively speaking).

I hadn't even considered it being a RO, there's no way AP is going to mess with their 'serious' collection, IMO.

I also hadn't considered it being a ROO diver, I naturally assumed it would be a 43mm ROO...

Maybe it's a 42mm?

p.s.

I still think it's Captain America and that MS9 is full of

The first MARVEL/AP Superhero is?

The first has to be war machine related since Don Cheadle is featured heavily.

Also think will only be the Offshore line, really can’t see them introducing for RO or Code lines.

In that case I'd rather have Prince Akeem.

I second Captain America. Based on statements the star movement is coming back, matches shield logo, seems like a good place to tinker.

I think it will be Black Panther. In Hong Kong there is a gigantic ad with wakandan text and the word vibranium on the bottom. Not to mention the ad is black and grey with metal like texture behind the text.

What do you guys think about the collectibility of the marvel piece if 250 are being made ??? Just wondering since I have one being offered to me and I’ve viewed it. It’s definitely serious fun.

My AD told me Marvel will be the Offshore line. She usually does not lie. Affordable is a relative term but the Offshores are not unaffordable. Unless they use some crazy turbillon chrono complication.

Edit: i think these will be super collectible and extremely hard to get. Serious collectors would like to have the whole set and there are 250 serious collectors out there. I would take it if I was you, especially if its serious fun.

Most AP collabs are ROO's, so that makes sense.
