First I think that your process is normal and that, “staying away” from TRF is just a single part of that process. I mean why stop yourself from reading and learning and congratulating others for incomings?

Buying and selling watches is an exciting and educational memory for you that has brought you to this beautiful and now, due to TRF and your journey, this amazingly simple 2 liner!

This drive, which affects many of us is the reason we can afford these superlative chronometers.

So, I say you have the strength to stick around and enjoy the rest of the ride...

Great story...I can relate. Over the past few years I’ve bought, sold & traded quite a few. I never looked at it as ... grass is always greener. My intent was always to try EVERYTHING I thought I might want/like. So far I’ve had...vintage, leather straps, all metal combinations, all price points and different brands. I’ve really narrowed my comfort level down to where I’ll probably stay for a while. Love the journey, love the hobby..,no regrets!
Enjoy your beautiful watch!, congratulations!

Congrats on the return of a great watch. I concur that often the chase is more rewarding than the ownership, and we often get caught up in it.

Not just watches, but cars for me as well.

Great story. I’m sure many of us (me included) are afflicted in a similar way. You are right though in that it sometimes becomes about the purchase, and somehow the living with and wearing the watch becomes secondary.

All the best

Congrats! Thanks for sharing, great story!!! Great, important thoughts!
Being content, happy right now. One gets easily carried away. Somehow I feel that it would be great to be a ”One Watch Guy”.
But I just can’t. I just love different models, all the history and differences between the models...
And I can find out if I truly love the watch once wearing it couple of weeks.
All the best!!

Thanks for your thoughtful post! It takes courage to just stop riding the rollercoaster and be content with what is on your wrist right now.

Great choice!

For OP i am new in this Forum and this is my first post, but that wrist, that is one of the most famous wrists on the watch game. Great choice and see you soon, if soon is tomorrow, so be it! And lets go for another loop!

I've ended up here myself, love it. So much so I had some work done.

It's already like a nice old pair of comfortable boots, and I've only had it since May.
