There’s not much left on that 1 o’clock lug. Not the end of the world if prices accordingly.

It's genuine but definitely overpolished all around... also very worn bracelet...

Do you know the first few digits of the serial number?

Upon first impression it looks OK- given the condition issues mentioned by others.

The s/n should at least comport with the dial and be consistent with a pre-1999 range.

Last thought - is seller 100% trusted?

The watch could be stolen if you aren’t getting some authentication of ownership custody.

Its the dealer I bought from before, I do trust him as much as one can trust a watch dealer but I do have issues with condition I will try to see it in person and then decide but I was not too happy with it otherwise I would not be here..oh well if I get it I will report back or I will find another one and come here again ..

Thank you guys

Something is off with the font of the bezel. I don’t know if it’s the camera but the font on the 40 and 30 don’t seem to match. The 40 looks smooshed. Aftermarket bezel maybe?

Did you mean the 40 and 50?

The 50 appears to be a fat font while the others are slimmer.

But I do agree the insert could be aftermarket.

Insert is fine (just a lighting issue, IMO).

Watch doesn't look too bad from here, especially at that price.
There are certainly better examples out there, but finding something in excellent condition in the "high 4s" is definitely going to be a challenge.
It's no safe-queen and has been no stranger to the polishing wheel, but I've seen a lot worse, for more money. YMMV.

Not a lighting issue. Its the same difference in all the pics of the bezel insert. I would say aftermarket and a cheap one

I agree. In the first and second photo where the lighting is about at 10 o'clock, the 5 looks fat as a result of the direct lighting, and the 4 looks good. In the third photo, the lighting moves to about the 8 o'clock position, and hits the 4 directly, and makes it look fat, and now the 5 looks normal. So, I would agree that the lighting is the culprit, and the insert is good.

Agreed, there are better options out there. That lug is looking a little lean.

Im with you, that is a vintage flat top 4 insert , would be correct for the period era of that watch.

In any event, id pass, the watch looks beat and care was was not given by the owner(s)...at least not the amount of care id expect for an almost $5k watch...

You should wait. There's better and when it comes to the secondary market patience is definitely a virtue.

Thanks guys I will take a look at it in person and inspect all the issues you mentioned also I will try to negotiate it down when it comes to the waiting game I am not the most patient man around and in my country these do not pop out like mushrooms, they are scarce. Most likely I will get it if I am able to negotiate it down and later on I can trade it for better example. The dealer will take it back any time. And I have a feeling it will look a lot better in person.

Appears ok to me. Better examples around but if your happy with the price and it’s condition that’s all that matters

Fake bezel. Triangles don't align and '10' thicker.

Kidding. Enjoy, looks great.
