Datejust 36 Jubilee bracelet hidden clasp question
Hello all! So recently bought me lady a DJ36 with the hidden clasp jubilee, yesterday I noticed little gouges(?) under the crown clasp on the little ramp portion. I was wondering if this was normal and will just wear away with use or what. I know the scratches on the flat folding portion where the legs of the toggle push against to open the clasp is normal, but the little gouges does not seem right. Will post pictures later tonight.
Thanks! |

Normal. That's just how they end up wearing with use. Mine looks about the same.

Another question about the hidden clasp jubilee, is the crown on the hidden clasp supposed to be wiggly or just completely solid and stay in place when the bracelet is shut close?

The crown is under spring tension so it should return to being flush with the bracelet. If yours flops around then the spring might be broken. If it returns to being flush then it's probably fine.
