That looks great. One of mine will go to RSC soon. I’ll be thrilled if it comes back looking like that!

Maybe thats Rolex's plan all along. Polish the 6 digit case enough it will take on the 5 digit case appearances and still attract buyers.

Anyway, edge restored:

Love the Crisp Edge!!

It would bug me hourly, if they were left the way RSC polished them...

Thanks for sharing. I could stare at those crisp shoulders for hours...

I think Rolliworks, is the way to go...

Only noticeable if you put it right beside a brand new LN or BLNR. Then you can see a difference. They polished out a reasonable sized dent on one lug then synched everything up so the end lugs are noticeably smaller. Pic attached, new BLNR on right. It's now a not-so-super Case. But again, I think it looks pretty good!
Oh boy... that side by side photo really does make the point. When looking at the watch on its own, I was thinking you were being a little particular. But by comparison, that's quite a polish. I'm surprised at how much metal they took off the case. Wow.

But I can definitely see a difference after Rolliworks touched it up.

Excellent question, hopefully they chime in. I’m very curious myself.

Yes we need the mid case on its own for polishing, ultrasonic, steam ect. Case tube, crystal, gaskets, all need to be removed to do the job correctly.

Same goes the bezel rings for lapping. The insert must be removed. Someone asked if we polish ceramic inserts. We do not. They can’t be polished and we cant lap the bezel ring with the insert installed.

The rounding on the edges done by RSC arent correct for the model but it was very well done. It took a bit of skill to round them evenly on all four lugs. We’re guessing its a technique learned by the tech at different brand perhaps. Who knows, it could be fashionable at some point.
