Locking up when replying to a post

Hey guys,

Anyone else find that occassionally that the keyboard locks up when you reply to a post.

It appears to lock up after replying and when you hit the "Submit New thread"

I have had this happen many times. I've also had the same thing happen when trying to reply to a PM. I usually find this problem is worse when I have quoted someone's message in the body of my reply, but it doesn't always hang things up.

If I'm posting a long reply, I've made a habit of cutting and pasting it to Word or some other program before hitting the submit button so I don't have to type it all over again if everything freezes.......

I haven't had that problem, Al, but what I have had happen is the machine freezing when I reply to a post or a PM. In fact, I was trying to reply to a couple of JJ's PMs the other day on my notebook while travelling and both times I got a "program not responding" message. I haven't done the diagnostics yet to see if that was an aberation. Also I've had similar issues when replying to posts, especially when I quote the earlier posting. It seems to be random, so I haven't been able to pin down any possible causes so far.

No problem, Mark. Glad to know it's the software and not my equipment.
