I'd skip. You never know who sees the gold and gets a bit frustrated. People are spiteful, and while I understand that 99% of people won't even notice, it's the 1% I'd be concerned about.

Leave it at home.

I always get a laugh at people saying that's it's a good idea to wear a Rolex of all watches to a job interview. Not sure what world they live in.

You have absolutely nothing to gain. The chances of the interviewer being a WIS and making some sort of connection are much lower than the possibility of rubbing someone the wrong way.

You aren't there to show off your personality or hobbies.

If you get the job, wear it every day like you normally would.

F*ck it you should wear it life's to short to worry about what other people may think about your watch

Wear it! To me it shows you work hard to attain your goals and if the person interviewing is jealous the he can phuck off. Like someone else has said, be yourself

People will make all kind of snap judgements based on your looks, appearance, resume, etc. research shows they tend to make their mind up in the first few minutes and spend the rest of that time confirming their own beliefs. So the watch is likely a non issue. That said, i would not wear that particular watch on an interview. In my collection, I would choose a speedy pro to wear to what you describe and with the clothes you mention.

Why would you take the Risk? There’s nothing to be gained, a job to lose. And , in truth, on that blue strap, it suggests a rather extrovert guy.

For most of my career as a psychologist I did not wear a watch. I did not want to add to any preconceived notions that a patient may possess. Nothing is written in stone during an interview, but you can narrow the focus of the interviewer by not wearing anything that may gain notice. I agree that the chance of someone judging you by your watch is slim, I would improve my chances by avoiding it.

If you're worried about it already, wearing it during the interview will only make you, even unconsciously, worry about what people are thinking instead of being 100% on your game during the interview. Leave it at home.

Wear it. It shows you are successful and knowledgeable enough to buy a good watch. If the interviewer doesn’t hire you because of something petty like a watch then they probably aren’t the sort of person you want to work for anyway

Don’t do it. No upside all downside.

No one will be impressed with a watch once you cross the 100-200k/year mark - it’s just spending habits.

On a bracelet ..youre hired.

If you were an engineer interviewing with first level managers it could be a problem. But a mid-level manager interviewing with senior executives? I find it hard to believe guys of that stature would be put off by a Rolex. More likely a positive at that level. Although I do agree with many others to lose that rubber strap.

This is the perfect time to wear it. Bring your authentic self to the table now, because if you don’t do it now and get/take this job, you will face a stiffer penalty if you aren’t accepted for you who are. Do you want to work at a place that judges you unfairly because of your watch? Find out now.

I would wear the sub on its original bracelet, under a cuff. It's your watch after all, just keep it discreet, the interview is about the job not the watch.

That blue strap is not only an eyecandy for everyone to stare at but also I'd say even more flashy than the TT bracelet.

I've worn my beater SKX to interviews.
