Tourneau Question

Someone has a watch for sale with a receipt from Tourneau, but they don't have any papers with serial numbers. Tourneau doesn't supply any form of paperwork with a serial number for authenticity?

If the paperwork cannot identify the product, it is meaningless.

i just checked and even my till receipts from several AD's shows the watch serial number. What does that receipt have as there has to be some sort of identifying code to what was sold? An internal stock number or something?

IE if you returned it and had a receipt how would they know that was the same watch?

Was the watch a Tourneau pre-owned or new? If you're in NYC, I would recommend going into the 57th street time machine store and speaking with Elona at the service desk downstairs. She was able to pull up info on a watch for me with a serial number.

The watch is preowned. Looking over the receipt, I see the following numbers. Not sure what they all are:

VRX97

SO#

SLSP

Salespersons name

We called tourneau on speaker phone and they spoke out the serial number. Everything matched except the last digit. Must be a typo...

You started another thread - why?
Yes I too suspect a typo!
