Only thing with Panerai is either by used at a good price or if buying new (even at a good price) know you're going to take a bath if you ever sell it (for the most part). I like my Panerai just as much as my Rolex. I like how they've got such personality while still being practical and reliable. My PAM 111 kept ~+.02 seconds per day for the better part of 13 years before needing a service. Now it's back to spec, though not QUITE as accurate as it initially was at about +1.5 per day.

Seems like you got smitten with the PAM and ultimately, that’s the only reason why anyone should buy a watch and non of that resale or investment value argument prevalent these days.
I’d say try it on when possible and make sure that it is the model you really like and not just a fleeting infatuation. If it is indeed, then I’d advice pulling the trigger and selling whichever one of the sub c or the gmt that doesn’t sing to you any more. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
