RIP Wes Unseld
As a kid, I watched Wes Unseld, Earl "The Pearl" Monroe, Gus Johnson and others give my New York Knicks a hard time from the Baltimore Bullets.
Wes Unseld passed away at the too young age of 74. He was a tough basketball player and very memorable to me as a leader on the Bullets. RIP, Mr. Unseld! |

I always liked him. Was a Bucks fan as a kid and (then) Lew Alcindor and Wes Unseld really had a physical championship series in 1971. Glad he later won a ring in the late 70's. Workmanlike, class player. Fond memories. RIP.

He was 6'7" and averaged more than 14 boards a game.
These days, that height has you playing the two guard. RIP
