Date change almost 10 minutes after midnight?

Greetings,

I just recently purchased a Datejust 41 126300 and I’ve noticed that the date changes around 12:05-12:08 in the past few days.

Is this normal or should I be concerned and get the watch serviced?

Thanks in advance

Would not worry about it to much its most probably the hands want resetting on the hand stack. As long as it changes its fine some change a little before some a bit after midnight. The date can only change when the hour hand has made two complete 12 hour revolutions around the dial.

Normal - many are switching at times such as yours is doing. No worries. My Rolex and Tudor are all switching 2 to 8 minutes after midnight.

You are more than likely to get "something else" screwed up should you request that someone try to reset the hands slightly. Do not waste your time for what really is a "non-issue".

With some other manufacturers, they (and owners) WISH their watches were switching that closely to midnight.

Did the date change at a different time before it began to change at 12:05-12:08 in the past few days?

I got the watch for a week and ever since I got it, it’s been around the 12:05-8 minute mark

There are better things to be doing at midnight rather than staring at your watch.

Be glad you do not have one of "the watch brands that takes hours to switch dates".
