My theory is wrong then!

Yup, just wanted to share something interesting that you don’t often see in hand.

Fair enough - not like you try to hide that you have commercial interests given your username and avatar.

Just too much going on for me, but of course some amazing engineering.

I think the limited edition numbers game is a bit of smoke and mirrors too. No reason why some numbers can’t be skipped if not required by that particular matching car owner.

It’s a cool watch, I’d gladly wear it, but it’snot something I would buy. Doesn’t seem to be a watch that will hold the test of time in terms of style.

Did this watch get tagged? It looks like graphitti to me and not in a good way.

Not everything is about having commercial interest. Yes I post in classifieds, but it doesn’t mean I don’t go through the forums and read things and want to share interesting things I see. No conspiracy here.

Yes exactly - this is what I meant. Nothing underhand whatsoever about your post.

I know I’m in the minority here, but I would wear it, however it would certainly not be my first choice RM for the money!

500 is a big LE series by RM standards, however IMO all RM’s are so hot at the moment I don’t think we will see this model available on the grey market below list price any time soon.

I’m not gonna bet it’s below list, but I think it settles at 200-240.

Who knows.

It is a LARGE edition.

Although... to be nit-picky, date background should have been orange (not white).

I love the car but the watch no thanks. I like the regular titanium 11-03 though.

McLaren make cars where every facet is considered for it's impact on performance, every aspect made as minimal and lightweight as possible, whilst remaining functional, exploring the latest in materials science and construction.
The cars are elegant.

Basically everything this watch is not.

Whilst I applaud RM for being different, for trying new substrates, they're basically now slapping everything together in the same old big, fat watch, rather than trying a thoughtful, innovative, maybe minimalist approach that highlights the newness. Right now every part of the watch seems to be loudly fighting every other piece for attention...
