advice needed - my (potential) 2nd vintage Rolex

Hi, Guys:

bought my first vintage Oyster Perpetual weeks ago (thks again for all who helped) and have been wearing it since. Lovely, but, it is without date

So, I am now hunting for one with date and came across this one

please advice if it is authentic and 'original'

Seller price is a bit high though

thks for taking time.

It's

It's a 16030 with a "Buckley" dial. (also hands should be black)

It's got a 3035 (rather modern) movement.

It's from about 1979/1980.

Steel bezel

Valued around 1400/1500.

I have a 16030 from 1982 and but for the dial looks just like that. Clean looking watch and a plus with the papers. The 3035 cal is a great movement too. Is that the original dial??

dial seems original

Dial seems original, real sharp and a patina on the tritium

Movement is super.

A 16030 with perfect jubilee should be around 1900-2000.

Minus the cost of a perfect jubilee I'd buy fot 1400-1500.

seller asked a lot more that $1500 and claims that this a very rare grey dial as most are white, black or blue
