Icon20 Possible to find a clasp ONLY for Oyster Bracelet?

Is it possible to replace the clasp only on a 78360 Oyster Bracelet? I have been looking for one to fit my '84 DJ and recently purchased one on another watch forum. The problem is that the clasp looks to be in pretty rough shape while the rest of it is pretty decent. I am planning do what refinishing I can following the Bracelet Scratch Maintenance advice over on Sheldon Smith's site.

http://www.minus4plus6.com/maintenance.htm

That said, is it possible to simply replace the clasp? It has some pretty deep scratches on it that may be too deep for surface refinishing without rubbing the crown down too far.

Thanks in advance for tolerating my newbie question.

Eli

Check with Steve Mulholland (member on this site) and place want to buy ad.

Another alternative is to search *Bay for one.

Good luck with your search.

I went to my ad for a replacement once. I had to turn in the old one though.

Thanks for the input guys. Really appreciated. I'll let you know how I make out. I plan to photograph my progress as I restore it - either to document my progress or the disaster in the making!

Best,

E
