Please help confirm the authenticity of this 5513
I need your help to confirm that this 5513 is genuine please. It was recently in for a service at Rolex, according to the seller. The seller is a trusted friend, but I just want to be absolutely certain beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is genuine. So, anything you can tell me will be greatly appreciated.
The dial, hands, crown, and bracelet are replacements not the original. Which the seller admitted. |

If the watch was serviced at Rolex then the seller would have paperwork authenticating the watch. Has he provided this?

I have not bought the watch yet. So, no. I will ask to see it, though. Other then that, does this appear to be from Rolex?

Since every piece that can be seen has admittedly been replaced, how would anyone know from a picture? Serial number on the case and recent matching paperwork from RSC would help.
I would want to have the movement looked at and authenticated also. Mark |

I deal with a lot of 5513's and it is quite common to see them with replacement parts..this appears to be 100% genuine and the service parts are all genuine..I would check the case for authenticity as there are countless high quality fakes with genuine movements right now..so better safe than sorry.
you would be amazed at how many people loose their paperwork, but there will still be some heiroglyphs or numbers etched into the(inside) caseback that will tell you the date of the last service ( if it was indeed serviced) |
