Both are nice. Don't care too much for the "Pig" on the 425, ruins the dial for me.

Not too big. 425 is cool, but only buy what you love Eric.

Like both to be honest, I think I may get a 425 if I can't get a 449 to match my 448... I don't mind the PIG on the dial? It's so weird/funny how everyones usually LOVES a logo, or pig dial... However in this it ruins it? What gives?

Another day, another set of great watches. Lucky to get to try all these!

425's pig is really subtle and I think I like gold hands on an SLC dial over blue hands. 424's date is subtle and useful and the logo gives a little visual interest.

I like 'em both!

Love the 425, bought it. Indeed who cares about the "pig". On the 292 the version with the "pig" is almost a collector's item, on the 425 it should ruin it ???

I think the gold hands stand out really nice, from a short distance the blue hands on the 449 almost look black. Also the crystal makes it much more wearable on a daily basis.

Hey Eric ...

Nice wrist shots.

Well, although I love California dials but the new 425 is very awesome piece. It looks amazing on your wrist.

As friends said before, buy what you love.

Good luck.

Khalid

The 425 has one of the nicest dials ever as far as I'm concerned. Recently sold mine however as the 47MM was just plain too big. Hopefully, one day, Panerai will come out with a 44MM or 45 MM version.

Enjoy your watch..........its a beauty!!!!!!

Cali dial is the one...

I'm also not a fan of the 'pig', and on a Rad dial it just looks wrong imho

I really love both the Cali and SLC dial. They are very unique and would love to get both some day. I am about to get my first Cali dial and will save up for the SLC dial as well because it is just too hard to choose. I'll have to sell some of my collection of course.
